Victorious start of the Brigade by defeating APF

KATHMANDU: NOV. 21 – Brigade Boys Club has made a good start in the Martyrs’ Memorial A-Division League. In Sunday’s match, Brigade Boys defeated APF Football Club 3-2 and scored two points from the first match.

Dinesh Rai scored two goals and Suraj Gurung scored one goal in the victory of the Brigade in the match played at Dasharath Stadium. APF’s Aashish Lama and Bikki Tamang scored one goal each.

In the 14th minute, Dinesh Rai of Brigade took the lead and in the 19th minute, Aashish Lama of APF equalized. Dinesh scored the second goal in the 65th minute to give the team a 2-1 lead and Bikki Tamang equalized for the team.
But during the injury time of the game, Suraj scored the winning goal for the Brigade.

Brigade Boys captain Roshan Rana Magar, who became the man of the match, received a prize of Rs 10,000. In the second match of the day, the match between Manang Marsyangdi Club and Jawalakhel Youth Club will start at 4:45 pm.
