Deuba party won in 9 out of 10 state constituencies of Kailali
DHANGADHI: NOV. 21 – Candidates of party president Deuba’s party have won in nine constituencies of Kailali in the regional assembly regional convention held under the 14th general convention of Nepali Congress. Kailali has 10 state assembly constituencies.
Under which Prashuram Mahato Katharia in ‘A’ of Constituency No. 1, Baliram Chaudhary in ‘B’, Bhim Jaisi in ‘A’ of Constituency No. 2, Tej Prakash Malla in ‘B’, ‘A’ of Constituency No. 3 Ram Prasad Chaudhary and Kamal Raj Chaudhary have been elected as presidents in ‘B’.
Similarly, Kashiram Sharma in Constituency No. 4 A, Sitaram Rana in Constituency No. 5 A and Keshav Joshi in Constituency B have been elected as chairpersons. They are all Deuba supporters. On the other side of the establishment, Gopal Dutt Bhatt has been elected as the chairman of ‘B’ of Constituency No. 4.
Deuba’s confidant Narnarayan Shah ‘Manu’ is the party president of Kailali. This is Shah’s second term. He is preparing to run for president in the far-western states. The Shah panel has won all the seats in the 126 conventions held on Nov. 13 and the Palika convention held on Nov. 16.
A meeting of the Basic Management Committee of the Far Western State First Convention held on Saturday has also appointed Shah as the coordinator. Election Officer Tek Prasad Subedi informed that the nomination for the regional convention to be held tomorrow will be held today and for the district convention to be held on Nov. 26 will be held on Nov. 25.
