29 injured in bus accident in Lamahi

DANG: NOV. 21 – At least 29 people have been injured in a bus accident in Lamahi of Dang district. The bus (Karnali Pradesh 02001 Kha 0219) heading to Kathmandu from Surkhet met with an accident at Lamahi Municipality-3 Narayanpur at around 2:45 last night, according to police.

Four of the 29 injured in the accident are in critical condition. The injured have been identified as Ayush Kumar Lama, 27, of Kathmandu, Laxmi Sharma, 32, of Lekhbesi Municipality-6, Surkhet, Bam Bahadur Shahi, 21, of Nilagufa-9, Kalikot and Dharmaraj, 28, of Mugu.

The condition of the other injured is normal. The injured are being treated at Lamahi Hospital. The bus driver has been arrested by the police.
