Balloons were flown for the UML General Convention

KATHMANDU: NOV. 20 – The CPN (UML) has flown a balloon from the party headquarters Thapathali today for the tenth general convention. General Secretary of the party Ishwor Pokharel flew the balloon. The balloon bears the logo of the 10th National General Convention and the party’s election symbol, the sun.

UML Secretary Yogesh Bhattarai, Central Member Surya Thapa, Sujita Shakya and others were present on the occasion.

Association president Kiran Poudel informed that the rally started from Balkumari of Lalitpur and reached Baneshwor via Lagankhel, Jawalakhel, Maitighar and Bijulibazar.

The general convention is being held in Chitwan from November 26 to 28. It is estimated that 1,199 delegates will participate in the convention.
