Nobel celebrates 17th anniversary
BIRATNAGAR: NOV. 19 – Biratnagar-based Nobel Medical College Teaching Hospital has celebrated its 17th anniversary. The Nobel celebrated the anniversary by holding various programs in a grand ceremony at the hospital premises.
At the event, State Chief Parashuram Khapung wished Nobel for a success in the field of healthcare and medical education. On the occasion, Dr. Sunil Sharma, Director of Nobel Hospital, expressed his happiness over the success of Nobel. He informed that a new international level basic science building is being constructed in Nobel and construction work will start from next Magh-Falgun (January-February).
Nobel Medical College Principal Prof. Dr. Ram Hari Ghimire, Director Dr. Rajesh Nepal, Co-Director Dr. Mukti Acharya, General Manager Rudra Prasad Sharma, International Director of Education Dr. Niranjan Kumar and others stressed on the success of Nobel due to the plan of the operator and hard work of the staff.
Twenty-two employees of 18 disciplines who have excelled in the program have been rewarded with cash. Similarly, 45 outstanding students have been honored. On the occasion of the anniversary, the students and staff of the college added dozens of performances including singing, dancing and acting.
On the occasion, hospital director Dr. Sunil Sharma and his wife and Nobel managing director Indira Sharma cut the cake. As the Sharma couple’s 28th marriage anniversary also falls, the anniversary and anniversary cakes are celebrated by cutting the cake together.
The Nobel Medical College, established in 2061 BS in Kanchanbari, Biratnagar, is considered to be the best in the field of quality treatment and quality medical education. Nobel is the largest privately run hospital in Eastern Nepal.
