NEPSE increased by 16 points, turnover amounted to Rs. 7 billion
KATHMANDU: NOV. 17 – The stock market (NEPSE) index rose by 16.95 points on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week.
The NEPSE index rose 0.61 percent to 2,801.52 points by the close of trading on Wednesday. The Sensitive Index rose 3.98 points to 525.44.
Of the 13 subgroups traded, six indicators declined while all other indicators increased.
A total of 119,43,858 shares of 224 companies were bought and sold at a price of Rs 7 billion 379.44 million 46 thousand 820 rupees on Wednesday.
The share price of Panchakanya Mai Hydropower Limited and Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Limited has risen by 10 percent on this day while the share price of Manushi Microfinance Financial Institution Limited, Terhathum Power Company Limited and Nepal Bangladesh Bank Limited has risen by almost 10 percent.
