ANFA signed a sponsorship agreement with Qatar Airways
KATHMANDU: NOV. 17 – Qatar Airways, the main sponsor of Martyrs’ Memorial A-Division Football League, has got continuity. ANFA signed a one-year agreement on Wednesday at ANFA Complex Satdobato.
The agreement was signed by All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) President Karma Chhiring Sherpa and Qatar Airways Country Manager Mohamed El Emam.
Airways will provide 150,000 US dollars or about 1 Crore 80 lakh Nepali rupees to ANFA as league sponsorship. ANFA has agreed on the same amount as in the last edition. Last season, Machhindra Club defeated Tribhuvan Army Club in the last match of the league to win the league title.
ANFA President Sherpa hoped that the agreement would be extended next year as well. “We have continued the old deal this season,” he said. “We’re going to have a big deal next season, including the whole league.”
