Office-bearers of constitutional organs breached constitution: Rawal

KATHMANDU: NOV. 17 – CPN (UML) Vice-Chairman Bhim Rawal has said that the officials of the Constitutional Commission have violated their jurisdiction and dignity by issuing a statement in favor of the Chief Justice. Rawal also remarked on social media that the collusion between the government, the courts, and the appointees were exposed.

He writes, “For the first time in history, a serious question of judicial ethics and sense of responsibility is being raised before the Chief Justice. Officials of the Constitutional Commission have issued a statement in this regard. ‘

On Tuesday, officials from the Constitutional Commission, including the National Human Rights Commission, issued a statement protesting the siege and the court blockade against the Chief Justice.
