Lawyers continued their agitation even today [Photos]

KATHMANDU: NOV. 17 – Lawyers have staged a sit-in today (Wednesday) demanding the resignation of CJ Rana. Lawyers led by the Nepal Bar Association have been demanding the resignation of the Chief Justice.

Even Supreme Court justices have been boycotting the session demanding the resignation of CJ Rana. However, four Supreme Court justices on Tuesday heard the habeas corpus case.

CJ Rana is adamant that he will not resign. But he has been urging the agitating parties to come for dialogue. On the other hand, the Nepal Bar has continued the agitation saying that the resignation of the Chief Justice is only the last option.
