Bar’s ultimatum to the Chief Justice to resign by Nov. 19

KATHMANDU: NOV. 17 – Nepal Bar Association has given an ultimatum to CJ Rana to resign by Mangsir 3 (Nov. 19). Speaking at the Bar’s office premises on Wednesday, Chairman Chandeshwar Shrestha gave an ultimatum to CJ Rana to resign by Nov. 19.

Chairman Shrestha has even warned to protest in high courts across the country if he does not resign. He said that the resignation of the Chief Justice was a necessary condition for strengthening the court.

He said, “We are in the movement that justice should not be bought and sold. The head of the court is bowing. In the name of dialogue, a statement has been issued to tarnish the image of the people. ‘
