NEPSE rose by 69 points, with a turnover of over Rs 5.5 billion

KATHMANDU: NOV. 16 – The share market (NEPSE) index has risen by 69.22 points on Tuesday, the third trading day of the week.

By the close of trading on Tuesday, the NEPSE index had risen 2.55 percent to 2,784.58 points. The Sensitive Index rose 14.92 points to 521.46.

A total of 1,093,221 shares of 227 companies were bought and sold at a price of Rs 5,521,650,856 on Tuesday.

Share prices of Nepal Bangladesh Bank Limited, Nepal Telecommunication Company Limited, Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank, Panchakanya Mai Hydropower Company Limited, Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Company Limited and Mailung Khola Hydropower Company Limited have risen by 10 percent.
