Agitation will continue till the Chief Justice resigns: Law practitioners

KATHMANDU: NOV. 16 – Demanding the removal of CJ Rana, the legal practitioners participating in the agitation have said that their agitation will continue till CJ Rana resigns.

During a protest by law practitioners at the Supreme Court premises on Tuesday, senior advocate Sabita Baral said that they were not tired of protesting against the obstruction of justice process due to the Chief Justice.

Objecting to Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand’s statement that Young Communist League, Nepal (YCL) had joined the Bar movement, Baral asked, “Are Krishna Prasad Bhandari, Daman Nath Dhungana and Kamal Koirala YCL?”

For the past few days, legal practitioners have been protesting demanding the resignation of CJ Rana.
