Lawyer entered SC breaking the security cordon [Photos]

KATHMANDU: NOV. 16 – The Nepal Bar Association has started a protest in front of the Supreme Court today demanding the resignation of the CJ Rana. Bar lawyers are breaking the security cordon and holding a sit-in at the main gate of the court.

Lawyers and police clashed for some time while breaking the security cordon. They have said that their agitation will continue till Chief Justice Rana resigns.

He is of the view that the rift between the judges is a step to protect CJ Rana. ‘Initiatives for the continuation of the Chief Justice Rana will not be accepted. We are also protesting against you, ”said Lilamani Poudel, general secretary of the Nepal Bar Association.
