Law practitioners staged a protest even today, tight security at SC [Photos]

KATHMANDU: NOV. 16 – The Nepal Bar Association, which is agitating against CJ Rana, has also staged a sit-in at the Nepal shutdown. Bar, who has been protesting for 23 days, started a sit-in at the Supreme Court this morning.

CJ Rana issued a statement on Monday calling for a formal talk. But the Nepal Bar has rejected the proposal and given continuity to the movement. Even the Supreme Court judges have not sat in the bench demanding that CJ Rana should pave the way.

Even today, security has been tightened in the Supreme Court. Security has been beefed up after law practitioners staged a protest demanding CJ Rana’s resignation.
