KATHMANDU: NOV. 15 – Though CJ Rana has appealed for talks, legal practitioners have said that they will not go for immediate talks. General Secretary of Nepal Bar Association Lilamani Poudel has said that they will not go for immediate talks.

He argues that CJ Rana should resign to end the stalemate in the court. “We will not sit in talks without the resignation of the CJ Rana,” he said.

Secretary-General Poudel said that they had made CJ Rana’s resignation the bottom line from the beginning and would not back down from it. In a statement, CJ Rana urged the agitating parties to leave the path of war and come to talk.
