Lawyers even today staged a protest within the SC premises

KATHMANDU: NOV. 15 – The Nepal Bar Association, which has been demanding the resignation of CJ Rana, has also staged a protest today. Lawyers from the Bar’s central office staged a protest inside the Supreme Court compound.

During this time, there was a scuffle between the police and the lawyers inside the Supreme Court premises. When the police tried to stop the lawyers from entering the Supreme Court from the office of the Nepal Bar Association, there was some commotion. Lawyers on their way to protest from the court premises in front of the main gate were tried to stop by police.

The agitating legal practitioners, led by the Nepal Bar, have been accusing CJ Rana of using “vigilantes” to disrupt their movement.
