Prime Minister Deuba said, “I have no alliance with anyone”
KATHMANDU: NOV. 15 – Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has clarified that there is no agreement with anyone about forming an alliance in the upcoming election. While answering the questions raised in the meeting of the Central Working Committee, Deuba clarified that there was no agreement on his participation in the election.
In the meeting held on Sunday, leader Prakash Man Singh had asked, “Is there any coordination in the election?” In response, Deuba insisted that there was no talk of an election. “Listen here, the government will remain, there will be an electoral alliance. Where did I say that?” I have no alliance with anyone. We have to fight alone, “he said.” No one has agreed to form an alliance.
Prime Minister Deuba reiterated that the political coordination committee formed between the coalition parties would be active only till the National Assembly elections. A meeting of the ruling coalition held on Nov. 8 formed an 11-member political mechanism (coordination committee) under the coordination of senior Congress leader Ram Chandra Poudel.
