The head of the most wanted leader was valued at Rs 5 million. His head was valued at Rs 5 million for his alleged involvement in various violent activities in Maharashtra.
According to Indian media, Indian Maoist leader Milind Teltumbde was killed in an encounter in the Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra. It is stated that 26 Maoist cadres including Milind were killed in the police encounter.
Milind, also known as the ‘Dangerous Maoist’, was on the absconding list. He had been involved in the racist movement since 1996 and was wanted by security forces.
According to police, the bodies of 26 Maoists including Milind were recovered after the clash. Among those killed were 20 men and six women.
