Announcement of socialist press organization close to CPN (with list)
KATHMANDU: NOV. 13 – A 215-member central member has been announced under the chairmanship of Shambhu Shrestha, coordinator of the socialist press organization Nepal affiliated to the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Socialist).
Prakash Khatiwada as vice president, Shital Sah as vice president, Bhawani Karki as women vice president, Buddha Bir Bahing Rai as inclusive vice president, Shantaram Bidari as valley vice president, Tirtharaj Sigdel as state vice president, Nawaraj Chhatkuli, Shreeram Sigdel, Bikash Banjade, Durga Thapa and Rajendra Kunwar as general secretary, Bhupa Raj Khadka as deputy general secretary. Wagle and Urmila Kunwar, Treasurer Krishna Raj Gautam, Secretaries Subash Prasad Sah, Uttar Singh Bista and Govinda Chaulagain.
Deputy General Secretary of the party and Chief of the Publicity Department Jagannath Khatiwada stressed on the need for the media to write in favor of nationalism and the livelihood of the people. He expressed the view that the Chief Justice should resign as the judicial sector was becoming ugly due to the ongoing dispute in the court.
Coordinator of the organization Shambhu Shrestha informed that his organization would conduct activities all over the country in favor of working journalists. Stating that the Communist government with a two-thirds majority had collapsed due to the inaction of the Oli government, he said that sincere cadres would defend the communist movement.
