Lawyer holding a sit-in to prevent Chief Justice from entering SC [Photos]

KATHMANDU: NOV. 12 – Officials of the Nepal Bar Association have decided not to allow Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher JB Rana to enter the Supreme Court. For that, they are holding a sit-in at the gate of the Supreme.

Lawyers have been protesting for almost two weeks, demanding the resignation of Chief Justice JB Rana. Even then, after Chief Justice JB Rana did not resign, Barr has already announced a strong movement. Lawyers are sitting in sit-ins under this movement.

4 arrested for supporting JB Rana

Four people have been arrested for protesting in support of Chief Justice JB Rana and against the bar. Police have arrested four persons including Tara Baral from near the Supreme Court gate.

There was even a scuffle with the lawyers and the Baral group for some time. They were then dispersed by police. After this, the situation is normal now.
