UML’s party membership has reached eight lakhs

KATHMANDU: NOV. 12 – The party membership of the CPN (UML) has reached around eight lakhs. UML office secretary Sher Bahadur Tamang informed that the party membership distributed for the 10th National General Convention has reached 7,89,620.

According to Tamang, five lakh 99 thousand 624 of them are males and one lakh 88 thousand 996 are females. There were 591,000 organized members in the ninth general convention of UML. UML has added one lakh 98 thousand organized members in the tenth general convention.

The tenth general convention of the CPN-UML is being held in Chitwan from November 26 to 28 this year. Only those who have subscribed to the General Convention by mid-Chaith 2077 BS will be able to elect a representative in the General Convention. UML is electing its delegates for the general convention on Saturday, November 13. One thousand 999 delegates will participate in the General Convention.
