Prime Minister’s effigy cremated by ANNFSU [Photos]

KATHMANDU: NOV. 11 – The Communist Party of Nepal (UML) -backed ANNFSU has cremated a statue of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba. ANNFSU Bagmati Committee on Thursday cremated a statue of Prime Minister Deuba in front of Ratnarajya Campus.

Student leaders affiliated with ANNFSU have burnt the idol of Prime Minister Deuba in protest against the rise in prices of petroleum products. The students chanted slogans such as ‘We do not know profit and loss, we do not believe in price rise’.
