Chief Justice’s invitation to Bar President, Shrestha’s stand not to go alone

KATHMANDU: NOV. 11 – Chairman of Nepal Bar Association Chandeshwar Shrestha has been summoned by Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher JB Rana. Chairman Shrestha informed Makalu Khabar that Chief Justice JB Rana had called him saying ‘let’s consult’. However, he replied that he did not come alone. “It simply came to our notice then. I was told by my friends there, ‘said Chairman Shrestha,’ I did not go and I will not go alone. ‘

Chairman Shrestha insists that whatever is done will be done with the participation of the office-bearers. “I did not see anything happening by discussing it alone. After a scuffle between the legal practitioners and the police, the Chief Justice summoned Chairman Shrestha for talks.
