Nepal to be closed on Nov. 16
KATHMANDU: NOV. 11 – Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’ has announced agitation against the rise in prices of petroleum products. CPN (Maoist) General Secretary Biplav said in a statement on Thursday that the agitation was announced.
A statement issued by the Biplav said, “The CPN (Maoist) has also announced the agitation while the people are protesting against the petroleum issue.” The Government of Nepal has been continuously increasing the prices of essential commodities such as petroleum and food items which are connected with the daily life of the people and we have the fact that this kind of government exploitation has become like a compulsion for the people to abide by.
Biplav has decided to close Nepal on November 16 as part of the agitation starting from November 11.
