Temperature dropping accross the country
KATHMANDU: NOV. 10 – Temperatures are dropping across the country, including the Kathmandu Valley. The minimum temperature in Kathmandu today has been measured at 9.9 degrees. According to Manju Basi, a meteorologist at the Department of Water and Meteorology, the temperature is rising across the country. Even though it is sunny all day long, it is felt that winter has increased in the morning and evening.
“There is no immediate possibility of rain,” she said. It is said that there is no significant weather system in the country. According to the Division, winter begins with the influence of western winds in the Nepali atmosphere. Currently, the weather is clear in the hilly parts of the country with partial cloud cover and the rest of the country.
In the afternoon, partly to moderate cloud cover in Bagmati and Gandaki States and generally clear weather in the rest of the state, according to the Weather Forecast Division. According to the latest details of the Weather Forecast Division, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley today is 9.0 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is 24.0 degrees Celsius.
Similarly, the minimum temperature of Jumla is minus 2.2 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature of Janakpur is 31.5 degrees Celsius.
