PM’s challenge to Gyanendra: ‘Don’t go against governance’
KATHMANDU: NOV. 10 – Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has warned former King Gyanendra Shah not to go against the regime. Challenging not to impose unnecessary rule, Prime Minister Deuba said, “If you want to rule, come and fight the election.” Don’t go for less than your full potential. ‘
Addressing a program organized by Ganeshman Smriti Shanti Pratishthan at Shantibatika in Kathmandu on Wednesday, Prime Minister Deuba said, “One can rule only by contesting elections.” That too only in the right way. ‘
He told Gyanendra Shah that he was ready to hand over anything other than democracy, but Prime Minister Deuba recalled that he had been coached in prison.
Similarly, Prime Minister Deuba pledged to rectify some of the shortcomings in the constitution. In the program, the foundation honored Professor Khagendra Bhattarai of Tribhuvan University with a gold medal.
