NEPSE decreased by 79 points, transaction amount limited to Rs 6.5 billion

KATHMANDU: NOV. 9 – The stock market (NEPSE) index has declined by 79.79 points on Tuesday, the third trading day of the week. Even on Monday, NEPSE had dropped by double digits.

The NEPSE index fell 2.82 percent to 2,749.85 points by the close of trading on Tuesday.

The Sensitive Index declined by 16.02 points to 512.82 points. Of the 13 subgroups traded, all subgroup indicators declined.

A total of 119,17,077 shares of 225 companies were bought and sold at a price of Rs 6,527,729,547 on Tuesday.

Shares of Sahas Urja Company and Tehrathum Power Company Limited and Manushi Microfinance Financial Institution Limited have risen nearly 10 percent on this day.
