Meeting between Defense Minister Rijal and Secretary General Saunders

KATHMANDU: NOV. 9 – Minister of Defense Minendra Rijal and Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations Christian Saunders have met. According to Rijal’s secretariat, the two met at the ministry on Tuesday.

During the meeting, they discussed about the glorious contribution of Nepal and the Nepal Army to the peacekeeping force and the expanded and more effective leadership role in the future.

After becoming a minister, Rijal has been meeting with ambassadors of different countries and people in the diplomatic field. He stressed on the need for Nepal to establish friendly and good diplomatic relations with the neighboring countries.
