India’s victory over Namibia

KATHMANDU: NOV. 9 – India have beaten Namibia by nine wickets in the ICC T20 World Cup. India beat Namibia by 9 wickets in the Group 2 match of Super 12.

India completed the target of 133 runs for the loss of one wicket in 15.2 overs. Rohit Sharma contributed the most 56 runs in India’s victory. KL Rahul added 54 runs and Surya Kumar Yadav added 25 runs. Namibia’s Jan Frylinck took a wicket.

Earlier, Namibia, who had been selected to bat first, lost eight wickets in the allotted overs and added 132 runs. For Namibia, David Wiese top-scored with 26 and Stephen Baard added 21 runs. India’s Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin shared three wickets each while Jasprit Bumrah took two wickets.
