Agitating judge returned to the bench

KATHMANDU: NOV. 8 – The agitating judges have returned to the bench demanding the resignation of Chief Justice JB Rana. Some judges who have been demanding the resignation of Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher JB Rana have taken up the issue of habeas corpus on Monday.

Judges Bam Kumar Shrestha, Kumar Chudal, Prakash Kumar Dhungana, Kumar Regmi and Tej Bahadur KC and Nakul Subedi returned to the bench and participated in the habeas corpus hearing.

The Supreme Court judges were engaged in a separate discussion on Monday morning, saying that Chief Justice JB Rana had violated the earlier agreement by setting up a bench.

Earlier, another judge, Chudal, had heard the writ petition and issued an order.
