NEPSE fell by double digits, turnover exceeded Rs 4 billion
KATHMANDU: NOV. 8 – On Monday, the second trading day of the week, the share market (NEPSE) index has decreased by 19.20 points.
By the close of trading on Monday, the NEPSE index had dropped 0.67 percent to 2,829.64 points.
The Sensitive Index fell by 2.71 points to 528.37. Out of the 13 subgroups traded, the indices of 3 subgroups have increased while the sub-indices of all other groups have decreased.
A total of 72 lakh 7 thousand 396 shares of 230 companies were bought/sold at Rs 4 billion 422 million 7 million 19 thousand 103 rupees on Monday.
Shares of Sahas Urja Company and ICFC Finance Limited rose 10 percent and those of Tehrathum Power Company Limited and Manushi Microfinance Financial Institution Limited rose nearly 10 percent on Monday.
