Meeting of the ruling coalition
KATHMANDU: NOV. 8 – A meeting of the ruling coalition is being held. Rastriya Janamorcha vice-chairperson Durga Poudel, who lives in Baluwatar, informed about the meeting on Monday afternoon. The meeting will discuss issues ranging from the formation of a mechanism to run the government to the crisis in the court. Lately, legal practitioners have been saying that political parties should also talk about the corruption of the judiciary.
The Bar Association is agitating for the resignation of Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher. Judges are also boycotting the bench. However, the parties are not talking about it. Today’s meeting is expected to draw some conclusions.
Now that the ambassadors have been recalled, the coalition is obliged to reach a settlement on the issue. This issue will also be discussed in today’s meeting.
Earlier, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and Pushpa Kamal Dahal had met. After this, the meeting of the alliance was called.
