SC controversy: Kumar Chudal sits in bench, other judges in discussion

KATHMANDU: NOV. 8 – Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher JB Rana has cleverly fixed the bench, while Judge Kumar Chudal has given the order after the hearing.

Chudal has issued a ‘show cause’ order after hearing the habeas corpus case from a single bench. He has also been arraigned in a joint sitting with Chief Justice JB Rana. Judges other than him are not sitting in the bench. They are engaged in discussions.
