Bar in the second phase of agitation against the Chief Justice

KATHMANDU: NOV. 8 – The Nepal Bar Association, which has been demanding the resignation of Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher JB Rana, is announcing the second phase of the agitation today. The second phase of the agitation will be announced after a virtual discussion at noon today after Bar sought suggestions from 90 units on Sunday.

Secretary-General of the Bar Lilamani Poudel informed that the decision of the movement will be taken at a meeting as per the suggestions coming from the unit. Prior to the announcement of the second phase of the movement, the previous program will be continued. Accordingly, there will be a protest program with a black band at Supreme Court today.

Judges are pressuring JB Rana to resign, except for the detainee. They are also holding a meeting from this morning to decide the strategy of the movement against oppression.
