KATHMANDU: NOV. 7 – Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 143 more people in the last 24 hours. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, coronavirus infection was confirmed in 143 people, including 141 in 1,980 PCR tests and 2 in 353 antigen tests.

Similarly, 9 more people have died due to coronavirus and 563 others have recovered. At the same time, the total number of infected people in Nepal has reached 9 lakh 9 thousand 375.

With the death of nine people on Sunday, the total death toll in Nepal has reached 11,448. Similarly, 7 lakh 95 thousand 397 people have been declared free of infection.

According to the ministry, there are currently 7,713 active infections in the country. Of these, 7,124 are in home isolation and 589 are in institutional isolation.

Of the coronavirus patients, 197 are being treated in the ICU and 49 in the ventilator. Coronavirus has been confirmed in 5 children under 10 years of age and 7 coronavirus have been added in the age group of 11 to 20 years.

According to the Ministry of Health, Kathmandu has the highest number of infected people in the district.

Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 53 people, 12 in Bhaktapur, 10 in Rupandehi, 9 in Lalitpur, 6 in Sunsari, 4/4 in Dhanusha and Banke.
