One killed, six injured in ambulance accident

TAPLEJUNG: NOV. 7 – One person has died in an ambulance accident in Taplejung. According to the District Police Office, the ambulance carrying the patient to Dharan in Sunsari met with an accident near Milkedanda last night.

Hemkala Limbu, 16, of Maiwakhola-2 died on the way to B.P. Koirala for treatment. There were seven passengers in the ambulance including the driver. Six others sustained minor injuries.

The ambulance fell 50 meters as it could not climb up the narrow road.
