KATHMANDU: NOV. 5 – Sri Lanka have beaten the West Indies by 20 runs in the ICC T20 World Cup. Chasing the 190-run target set by Sri Lanka in last night’s match, West Indies scored 169 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs.
Shimron Heitmeyer scored an unbeaten 81 for the West Indies. Similarly, Nicholas Pooran scored 46 runs while other West Indies batsmen could not score double figures. Similarly, Sri Lankan bowlers Binura Fernando, Chamika Karunaratne and Wanindu Hasaranga took 2-2 wickets. Similarly, Dushmantha Chameera and Danus Shanaka took one wicket each.
