Commission gave legitimacy to the amended constitution of Discretionary Sharing
KATHMANDU: NOV. 4 – The Election Commission (EC) has approved the legislative amendment made by the central chairman of Bibeksheel Sajha Party, Rabindra Mishra. The commission has approved the legislative amendment passed by the meeting of the central committee of Rabindra’s party held on Oct. 5.
The meeting called for a referendum on the abolition of federalism and secularism. According to the decision, the constitution was amended. Which was recognized by the Election Commission on Thursday.
At the same time, 124 members of the Central Committee of the same party have been retained (five have resigned and one has died). After the meeting, the joint party had written a letter to update the decision.
The Pandey faction, however, has not accepted it. He has been demanding the abolition of federalism and the need for a referendum on secularism put forward by the Rabindra faction as the main agenda.
