KATHMANDU: NOV. 3 – Pakistan cricket captain and opener Babar Azam has returned to the top of the world’s best batsmen in the Twenty20 format.

Babar has topped the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) rankings released on Wednesday.

Earlier, England’s Dawid Malan has dropped to the second position. Australia’s Aaron Finch has risen to third, Pakistan’s opener Mohammad Rizwan at fourth and India’s Virat Kohli at fifth. Nepal’s batsman Kushal Bhurtel is ranked 56th in the list.

Similarly, Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga has risen to the top in bowling. He is in the top spot for the first time. South Africa’s Tabraiz Shamsi is second, England’s Adil Rashid is third, Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan is fourth and Mujeeb Ur Rahman is fifth. Similarly, Nepal’s bowler Sandeep Lamichhane is ranked 91st in the list.
