UML will not call for unified socialists in the general convention
KATHMANDU: NOV. 3 – The Communist Party of Nepal (UML) is going to invite the major parties to the tenth general convention. Chief of the Central Publicity Department Yogesh Kumar Bhattarai informed that the UML will invite the Nepali Congress, Maoist Center, JSP and other political parties to the general convention.
Chief Bhattarai also said that a letter would be sent to them for that. However, the UML has decided not to send a letter to the CPN (Unified Socialist) led by Madhav Kumar Nepal, which split the party and formed a new party. Department chief Bhattarai said, “I do not think that groups formed in the name of political parties should be called to the general convention.” The UML does not understand that the parties born of illegal pregnancies should be called to the general convention. ‘
