Dr Pathak is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Rastriya Banijya Bank

KATHMANDU: NOV. 2 – Rastriya Banijya Bank Chairman Dr. Balram Pathak has taken an oath of office and secrecy.

The newly appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited, Dr. Balram Pathak, took an oath before the Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, Maha Prasad Adhikari on Tuesday as per sub-section 1 of section 127 of the Banking and Financial Institutions Act, 2073 BS.

Earlier, a meeting of the Board of Directors of the bank unanimously elected Dr. Balram Pathak as the chairman. Dr. Pathak has a doctorate in economics. He also has experience working as a director of Rastriya Bima Company Limited.

Dr. Pathak is currently teaching Economics at the campus of Tribhuvan University.
