Demand a complaint about the proposed ambassadors

KATHMANDU: NOV. 2 – The Parliamentary Hearing Special Committee has started the hearing process on the proposed ambassadors to the United Kingdom, India and the United States.

A meeting of the committee held at Singha Durbar on Tuesday decided to call for information within 10 days if any complaint is lodged against the proposed ambassadors, said Chairman Laxman Lal Karna.

After publishing the notice for summoning the complaint, the hearing of the ambassador will be held and the approval process will start, said Chairman Karna.

The government had decided to recommend Dr Shankar Sharma for India, Prof Dr Shridhar Khatri for the US and Gyan Chandra Acharya for the UK.
