Poudel sees need of transformation in NC

KATHMANDU: NOV. 2 – Nepali Congress senior leader Ramchandra Poudel has said the transformation was needed in the party instead of leadership handover.

In his address to a festival reception organized by the NC, Makwanpur in Hetauda today, the NC senior leader said this. He also expressed concern over the dispute still existing in regard to party membership in some districts.

As he said, the agenda of the party should reflect the issue of people and the entire nation, not of some individuals. “The NC is a self-sufficient party, but refinement is necessary within it.”

The leader was of the view of finding a way out to the existing problem in the judiciary to keep its image and prestige intact.

NC central member Badri Pandey and district president Indra Bahadur Baniya were among those joining the reception.
