Al Mutairi to stay as Nepal’s head coach until 2024
KATHMANDU: NOV. 2 – Abdullah Al Mutairi has returned as the head coach of Nepal’s national football team.
At a press conference organized by ANFA on Tuesday, Al Mutairi said that a new agreement has been signed with ANFA from Monday and the agreement is valid till the end of 2024.
He has also made public his upcoming plans at a press conference. He said that a three-year agreement has been signed targeting the World Cup Qualifier 2026 and Asia Cup Qualifier 2027.
He said that as per his plan for the third round of Asian Cup qualifiers, he would be under pressure if a player was injured and he did not need a half-engine player. He said that they are committed to the development of football and urged everyone to focus on the development of football.
