NEPSE rose by 23 points, with a turnover of over Rs 6 billion

KATHMANDU: NOV. 2 – The stock market (NEPSE) index rose by 23.76 points on Tuesday, the third trading day of the week. By the close of trading on Tuesday, the NEPSE index had risen 0.84 percent to 2,843.62 points.

The Sensitive Index rose by 2.84 points to 531.42. Of the 13 subgroups traded, the indices of three subgroups have declined while the subgroups of all other groups have increased.

A total of 9,977,483 shares of 230 companies were bought/sold at a price of Rs 6,737,168,888 on Tuesday. Shares of Sahas Urja Company Limited rose nearly 10 percent on Tuesday.
