Norvic announces special health package on Diabetes Day

KATHMANDU: NOV. 2 – On the occasion of World Diabetes Day, Norvic International Hospital has announced a health package.

Norvic has announced a special package aimed at contributing to the reduction of the growing problem of diabetes worldwide and encouraging potential diabetics to undergo health check-ups.

A special package for diabetes screening can be purchased at a discounted rate on World Diabetes Day, the hospital said.

Those who want to take this package on World Diabetes Day have to pay Rs 6,000, the hospital said. The fee includes tests such as random blood sugar, HbA1c, SGOT, SSGPT, GGT, urea, creatinine, lipid profile, uric acid, CRP, ESR, and CBC, the hospital said.

Under normal circumstances, you have to pay around Rs 10,000 for all these tests. It is said that the package has been prepared by limiting the average of 10,000 tests on the day of Diabetes Day to 6,000.

Norvic will also run a free consultant service for diabetes specialist Dr. Dina Shrestha on Diabetes Day.
