Rai taking oath as Chief Minister, meeting continues to decide the ministry

BIRATNAGAR: NOV. 2 – A meeting of the coalition is being held on how to form the government of State 1 and how to share the ministry. The government is being formed under the leadership of the Unified Socialists. On behalf of the party, parliamentary party leader Rajendra Rai is becoming the chief minister. He is taking an oath of office and secrecy as the Chief Minister at 2 pm.

Similarly, a small cabinet will be formed today. Though preparations are being made for the participation of one minister from each party, the issue of distribution of ministries has not been resolved yet. Proposed Chief Minister Rai said that a meeting was being held for internal consensus between the parties. “We will decide on the minister and the ministry from the meeting to be held now,” Rai told Makalu Khabar. We will decide the ministry and the minister by combining the name from them and the name from the Nepali Congress. ‘

In today’s cabinet, Rai will be sworn in as chief minister, while Congress, UCPN (Maoist) and JSP will each be sworn in as ministers.
