Nepal records 533 new cases of COVID-19, 9 deaths in past 24 hours

KATHMANDU: NOV. 1  – The country has reported 533 new COVID-19 cases and nine deaths in the past 24 hours. The infection cases were recorded after a total of 11,664 tests across the country, said the Ministry of Health and Population.

With this, the number of active cases is 9,318 and the death toll from the virus reached 11,416.

A total of 490 infected ones recovered from the infection in the past 24 hours, taking the recovery figure to 792,277. The recovery rate is 97.4 percent while the death rate is 1.4 percent.

Lately, 65,028 people received vaccines against the coronavirus, said the Ministry.
