Partnership between Nabil Bank and Pokhara University
KATHMANDU: OCT. 31 – Nabil Bank has entered into an agreement with Pokhara University for entrepreneurship development and financial access under sustainable banking. On behalf of the Bank, Chief Executive Officer Anil Keshari Shah and Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Dr Ajay Thapa signed the partnership agreement.
Following the partnership, the bank aims to develop entrepreneurship by providing loans to entrepreneurial students running entrepreneurial projects under the university’s Bachelor of Entrepreneurship Development-BED Program.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Executive Officer of the Bank, Anil Keshari Shah, said that the agreement has added a new dimension to the relationship between Nabil Bank and Pokhara University. He also said that he would help in social transformation by developing employment and entrepreneurship among the youths who have acquired knowledge related to entrepreneurship.
Similarly, Vice-Chancellor of Pokhara University Prof Dr Prem Narayan Aryal, Registrar Dr Deepak Bahadur Bhandari and Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Dr Ajay Thapa lauded the new thinking of Nabil Bank and wished success to the Nabil Sustainable Banking Program.
The program was attended by various officials of the university, high ranking government employees, journalists, presidents of Lekhnath Chamber of Commerce and Industry and representatives of various business organizations and journalists, intellectuals as well as students who want to become entrepreneurs.
