Taxes of Kathmandu Metropolitan City can now be paid from eSewa

KATHMANDU: OCT. 31 – Taxes and revenue of Kathmandu Metropolitan City can now be paid through eSewa. Along with this, from now on, property and land, business and restoration tax of Kathmandu Metropolitan City can be easily paid through eSewa.

People with eSewa accounts will be able to pay taxes and revenue directly from their mobile while those without eSewa accounts will be able to pay tax through nearby eSewa zones and points.

Paying taxes and service charges at the local level online is expected to be more convenient for the local level and the residents of the area, and it is expected to be easier and safer to get services from home during the current COVID-19 epidemic.

Metropolitan residents will be able to pay through eSewa in two ways. For this, the city dwellers will have to register their email and phone number through the ward office and get the login ID. After that, payment can be made from eSewa’s mobile app or website, and tax and revenue can also be paid through eSewa by entering the username and password from the website of Kathmandu Metropolitan City.

So far, Banepa Municipality, Basgadhi Municipality, Bardaghat Municipality, Belauri Municipality, Biratnagar Metropolitan City, Bishnupur Rural Municipality, Butwal Sub-Municipality, Chhathar Jorpati Municipality, Dhangadhimai Municipality, Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City, Dhulikhel Municipality, Godawari Municipality, Gokarneshwor Municipality, Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City, Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City, Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Kawasoti Municipality, Kerabari Rural Municipality, Kirtipur Municipality, Madhyabindu Municipality, Namobuddha Municipality, Punarbas Municipality, Sundaraharaincha Municipality, Thulung Dudhkoshi Rural Municipality, Tilottama Municipality and other localities can pay taxes and revenue through eSewa.
